About the Delcal American League....

The Delcal American League is a 12-team Strat-O-Matic baseball league divided into two divisions. Teams consist of players from the American League and rosters can range from 30-39 players.

Three teams from each division make the playoffs. The division champions receive a first-round bye, and the second- and third-place teams play, with the winners advancing to play the division champions in the second round of the playoffs. The winners in the second round of playoffs play for the league championship. All playoff series are best-of-seven games.

The Delcal is governed by a league commissioner. The commissioner rules on items not covered in the constitution. Rule changes can be made by submitting the change and having the membership vote on it, with 62% approval needed for the proposal to pass.
